Center for Business and Industry Services

 

CBIS mixes community teaching/learning with high quality professional and custom training for local industry.  Amongst their gamut of training opportunities, CBIS partners with Development Dimensions International, VisionPoint, WorkPlace Spanish, Washington Manufacturing Services, Gatlin Education, and Education to Go. 

 

Pre-Employment Training Program

 

Ten local companies have combined resources to create a training program to prepare workers for manufacturing and food processing careers. Participants of the training program learn quality/continuous improvement, teamwork, computer technology, communications, general food manufacturing, safety, math, personal development, and get to take tours of the 10 participating companies.
