Entrepreneur Conference: Small Business is Everyone’s Business!

Erik Pages will be speaking at the Entrepreneur ConferenceEfforts are underway to strengthen the business support network so that it works more seamlessly and allows entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow and thrive.  

Erik Pages a leader in rural entrepreneurship through EntreWorks will be the key note presenter at an entrepreneur conference. He will be discussing best practices and policies that organizations and civic leaders across the country have designed and implemented to create a straightforward path to small business success.  

The conference will be held April 17 from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Othello Community Hospital and provides an opportunity to engage with a national expert, add value to existing rural businesses, and encourage new entrepreneurs. Other speakers will include a panel of local small businesses and entrepreneurs that have started businesses in the region.  

The Grant County Economic Development Council and the Adams County Development Council are co-hosting the event that is sponsored by Washington State University Extension. Registration is $25 and includes lunch. Registration can be done online at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1337363.
