Columbia Basin Job Corps
Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. Career training includes programs like Building Maintenance, Carpentry, Computer Networking/CISCON, Culinary Arts, Facility Maintance, Nursing Assistant, Office Administration, Pharmacy technician, and Welding.

The Skills Center offers programs in specific areas for High School aged students to get training in occupational career pathways to pursue after graduation. Each student comes for at least 2.5 hours each day.
CBTECH instructors are highly qualified in their subject area, all having both industry experience and background in education.
The CBTECH motto of, “On time, every day, with a positive attitude”, is the workforce goal for all students. Most programs have a state license, certificates or real industry experience. All student set goals and are taught interview preparation, experience mock interviews and practice manners for mealtime. Ambassadors program gives each student an opportunity to interact with respect the adults as they visit the center.

Workforce Development
WorkSource is a statewide partnership of state, local and nonprofit agencies that provides an array of employment and training services to job seekers and employers in Washington.
Last year, WorkSource professionals helped some 170,000 workers and nearly 5,600 Washington employers. Studies show that people who use WorkSource services tend to find work faster and earn more money than those who don't.
