Project Summary

The Grant County EDC began working in early 2010 on what was then known only as "Project Roosevelt." As the project progressed, it was revealed that the company behind the project was Dell.

By early November, less than eight months after Dells' site selection team first set foot in Grant County, the company closed on an 80 acre parcel of land in Quincy.

Dell plans to construct 350,000 square feet in three phases over the next seven years on the 80 acre site. The first phase (140,000 square feet with 60,000 square feet of raised floor) is projected to be online by the end of 2012. The data center is a key part of the new cloud computing services that Dell plans to roll out over the next several years.
