Running right through the center of Grant County, Interstate 90 is the longest interstate highway in the United States. It connects Grant County to the deep seaports in Seattle and Tacoma to the west, and to Chicago and Boston to the east.

U.S. Highway 2 is the other major east/west transportation route in Grant County. It spans over 2,500 miles and connects Grant County to Everett, WA on the west and to St. Ignace, MI on the east. State Highway 17 is the main north/south transportation route.

Trucking

The county is serviced by five common carriers. Four of the carriers have local terminals and one carrier offers intermodal services.

Public Transportation

The Grant County Transit Authority has thirteen bus routes that connect the entire county. The Transit Authority works closely with large employers to set up schedules to drop off and pick up workers at the best time for the business.
