The Grant County Economic Development Council (GCEDC) is working with the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to conduct the 2019 Wage and Benefit Survey.
Going forward, the GCEDC will be utilizing the Washington SBDC’s Market Intelligence Research Team. The Washington SBDC is hosted state wide by Washington State University. With the new partner, GCEDC will be able to produce the survey every year for the local industrial and agriculture production companies. GCEDC strives to connect our local industry to opportunities and resources.
“This survey is one of the most requested documents our office receives,” said Brant Mayo, GCEDC Executive Director. “Both existing business and newly recruited businesses like to know how they compare to the region’s companies.”
A link to the survey will be sent out via email in Mid-January 2019. Participants will be able to submit the survey via Google Forms directly to the Market Intelligence Research Team at the Washington SBDC.
“As this is a new way that we are conducting the survey,” said Emily Smith, GCEDC Business Recruitment Manager, “we are ensuring that the form is able to be saved and participants are able to go back and edit their form. We will have a strict two-week window that the form will be available.”
The Grant County EDC is expecting the survey results to be completed by the end of February 2019.
