CARES Act Continued

CARES Act dollars for the county have been quite successful thus far.
As of this writing, we have delivered funds to 217 businesses county wide.
On these forms, business owners identified each of the jobs possibly saved by these funds in Grant County. With this information, we estimate that the CARES Act helped saved anywhere from 437 to 663 individual jobs– be they full or part-time.
Additionally, we can also track how many applications came to us from each area throughout Grant County. The following areas had these totals of applications sent in and approved:: (A note that close to half of these businesses were women-owned and over a fifth of the businesses were minority-owned.)
- Coulee City-2
- Ephrata–30
- Grand Coulee-19
- Moses Lake-108
- Quincy-24
- Royal City-19
- Electric City-5
- Mattawa-2
- Soap Lake-2

The applications are filling up quickly and we need to have them all in by November 13th if possible. Go to grantedc.com/grants to fill out your application today or share with someone who might need it.
