GCPUD is a public electric utility serving over 46,000 customers throughout Grant County. The ability to maintain local leadership of power resources has allowed the county to grow and prosper. Our low-cost power allows the county to be a leading player in agricultural, technology, and advanced manufacturing industries. The Priest Rapids Project, comprised of Priest Rapids and Wanapum dams, has the capacity to produce 2,000 megawatts of renewable and reliable electricity.
