Mike Conley was born in Bremerton, Washington, as was raised and attended schools in Emmett, ID. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS and MS in Agricultural Economics. Mike spent 24 years working in the finance industry, mostly in the agricultural area. His career took him to Washington, Oregon and Montana. Mike took his first job in Moses Lake in 1965. He later worked as the Manager of the Port of Mattawa and the Port of Warden. In 1998, he married Carol Monohon, a former State Legislator from the 19th District. Mike and Carol have four children and five grandchildren.
Mike is currently a Port of Moses Lake Commissioner and previously served as a Commissioner of the Grant County Public Utility District and is a very active community leader. He is a board member of the Moses Lake Senior Center and has been a leading member of Lions International for over forty years.
