For over 20 years, Grant County Economic Development Council has been the leading resource for business development and economic growth in the area. Our aim is to provide the best possible support for businesses, entrepreneurs, and developers to help them succeed.

Meet the Team
Executive Director
Brant Mayo
Brant was hired as the Executive Director of the Grant County Economic Development Council in 2017. For the previous 11 years, he was the Executive Director for the Boy’s & Girl’s Clubs of the Columbia Basin. He has been extremely involved in community service, including being a member of the Moses Lake High School and Big Bend Booster Clubs, Boys & Girls Basketball Coach at Moses Lake High School, President of Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington State Alliance, Board of Directors of Chamber of Moses Lake, member of the Rotary Club of Moses Lake, and member of Samaritan Hospital’s Mission Integration Committee. Brant’s family moved to Moses Lake in 1975. He graduated from both Moses Lake High School and Big Bend Community College. Brant married Penny Talcott also from Moses Lake in 1997, with whom he has two teenage daughters who are very involved in their school, athletics, and 4-H. *Personal Views of the Staff & Directors do not reflect the views of the Grant County Economic Development Council.

Rhyanne Berryman
Recently joining the EDC team as the Director of Business Retention and Expansion, Rhyanne is thrilled to bring her passion for building relationships and fostering growth to the forefront. Eager to dive into her new role, she looks forward to the exciting journey ahead and the opportunities it presents within the community. Raised in rural Eastern Oregon, Rhyanne Berryman is native to a small town in the Pendleton area called Pilot Rock. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Eastern Oregon University, followed by a recent MBA, Rhyanne and her fiancé decided to put down roots in Ephrata, his hometown. Together, they’ve embarked on the adventure of homeownership, accompanied by their beloved cat, while filling their free time with outdoor activities and home renovations. *Personal Views of the Staff & Directors do not reflect the views of the Grant County Economic Development Council
