Food Processing Assets

Grant County has thousands of acres of industrial zoned land that is ready for development.  

Food Manufacturing Incentives INCLUDE

  • 1,700,000 acres of farmland open for production.

  • 470,000 irrigated acres available to produce high-value commodities.

Food Processing Incentives

Grant County's food processing incentives are designed to help businesses thrive, with a range of tax credits, grants, and other benefits. 

Food Manufacturing Incentives INCLUDE

  • A $2,000 credit against the businesses B&O Tax for each new qualified employment position with annual wages and benefits of $40,000 or less.

  • A 7.9% sales and use tax for qualifying machinery and equipment.
